PORTLAND, ME, UNITED STATES, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- ProInfoNet, a Maine-based independent IT consulting and strategic advisory firm, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Maine Family Business Awards, presented by the Institute for Family-Owned Business.

ProInfoNet is one of 26 businesses selected as finalists from an original field of 505 nominations. Seven award recipients will be announced at the Maine Family Business Awards gala on Thursday, November 19, at Brick South at Thompson’s Point in Portland.

The recognition follows an important milestone for the family-owned company, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in December 2025.

Founded by Jim Rogers in 1995 as a one-person consulting operation from his home office in Bangor, ProInfoNet has grown to over 30 full-time employees with offices in Bangor and Portland. Today, the company serves more than 320 organizations across Maine, New England, and nationwide.

“When I started ProInfoNet, I wasn’t thinking about building a family business. I was focused on doing good work, treating people well and helping our clients succeed,” said Jim Rogers, Founder and CEO of ProInfoNet. “To see what that has grown into, and to have our family and our team carrying those values forward, makes this recognition especially meaningful.”

Over the past three decades, ProInfoNet has expanded from traditional IT consulting into healthcare technology, broadband infrastructure, and strategic advisory services. Its work has helped bring more than $130 million in funding to over 2,800 healthcare sites and supported broadband initiatives reaching more than 2 million residents.

“What I’m most proud of is that we’re continuing to grow without losing the values that got us here,” said Jeff Rogers, Vice President of ProInfoNet. “The company looks very different than it did 30 years ago, but our commitment to our clients, our people, and the communities we serve hasn’t changed. As we look ahead, our responsibility is to carry that foundation forward while continuing to evolve.”

The Maine Family Business Awards recognize family-owned companies for business success, family participation, community and industry contributions, work environment, communication, and innovation.

ProInfoNet plans to attend the November 19 gala, where the 2026 award recipients will be announced.
