Announcing the Winner of the 2026 Siegfried & Jensen Truth, Justice, and Fairness Scholarship

Siegfried & Jensen honors Isaac Termure for his commitment to advancing justice, serving communities, and pursuing a legal career rooted in compassion.

Growing up in a hardworking immigrant family taught me never to take justice for granted. I hope to use my legal education to create real fairness and accountability for the people needing it most.”
— Isaac Termure, 2026 Scholarship Winner
SALT LAKE CITY, UT, UNITED STATES, October 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Siegfried & Jensen is proud to announce Isaac Termure as the recipient of the 2026 Siegfried & Jensen Truth, Justice, and Fairness Scholarship. Established to support students who aspire to use the law to create meaningful change, the annual scholarship recognizes individuals whose academic achievements, personal experiences, and dedication to service reflect the values of truth, justice, and fairness.

A first-generation student from a modest-income immigrant family, Isaac's passion for the law is deeply personal. His father and grandparents immigrated to the United States from Romania after experiencing life under a communist government where justice and opportunity were limited. Their perseverance, integrity, and belief in education inspired Isaac to pursue a career dedicated to helping others navigate complex legal challenges and ensuring vulnerable communities have access to fair representation.

Isaac recently graduated summa cum laude from the Missouri University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a 3.88 GPA. Before earning his bachelor's degree, he completed two associate degrees through the Running Start dual-enrollment program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology while still in high school. This fall, he will begin his legal education at Seattle University School of Law, where he plans to focus on intellectual property law while building a career that also includes meaningful pro bono service.

What distinguished Isaac's application was his vision for combining engineering and law to serve others. He believes his technical background will allow him to better understand complex product failures, engineering defects, and other technical evidence that often play a critical role in legal cases. By translating complicated concepts into clear explanations, he hopes to help courts better understand the facts and ensure injured individuals receive fair outcomes.

Beyond his academic accomplishments, Isaac has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to serving his community. He has volunteered for many years through his church, supporting youth programs, choir, band, and worship teams. During his undergraduate studies, he also tutored fellow engineering students in advanced mathematics, helping classmates succeed in challenging coursework. Looking ahead, he hopes to use his legal education to advocate for immigrant families, first-generation Americans, independent inventors, and individuals who need an advocate but may not have the resources to secure one.

"Growing up in a hardworking immigrant family taught me never to take justice and legal protections for granted," said Isaac Termure. "I hope to use my legal education to create real opportunity, fairness, and accountability for the people who need it most."

"Isaac embodies the purpose of the Truth, Justice, and Fairness Scholarship," said a representative of Siegfried & Jensen. "His dedication to serving others, combined with his exceptional academic achievements and unique perspective, reflects the values we hope to encourage through this scholarship. We are honored to support him as he begins the next chapter of his journey."

The Truth, Justice, and Fairness Scholarship reflects Siegfried & Jensen's ongoing commitment to investing in future leaders who are passionate about serving their communities and expanding access to justice. By supporting students like Isaac, the firm hopes to encourage the next generation of legal professionals who will use their education, compassion, and determination to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
