The Gents Place Launches 10th Annual Suit Drive for Veterans
The Gents Place invites communities nationwide to donate professional attire throughout September to support Veterans and transitioning service members.
DALLAS, TX, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Gents Place, the nation’s leading luxury barber and business club, today announced the 10th annual Operation Gentlemen Suit Drive, taking place now through September 30th, at participating clubs nationwide. The charitable campaign collects new and gently used professional attire to help Veterans and transitioning service members enter civilian careers with confidence.Donors may contribute men’s and women’s suits, dress shirts, dress pants, professional shoes, belts, ties and other interview-ready clothing. Donations are collected at The Gents Place club locations throughout September, then sorted and prepared for distribution to Veterans and transitioning service members, including those served through programs at Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, TX.
“Ten years ago, we started with a simple belief: the people who served our country deserve to enter civilian life with confidence and dignity,” said Ben Davis, founder and CEO of The Gents Place and co-founder of Operation Gentlemen, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. “A great suit cannot repay a Veteran for serving our country, but it can help open the door to a new career. What moves me most is seeing our Members, guests, teams and local Club owners turn gratitude into practical action year after year.”
A DECADE OF PRACTICAL SUPPORT
The Suit Drive is one of three core programs led by Operation Gentlemen, a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Ben and Lauren Davis. Along with collecting professional attire, the organization serves meals to homeless Veterans and provides grooming services to people experiencing homelessness.
As of September 2026, Operation Gentlemen reports that its supporters and volunteers have helped provide 12,500+ professional clothing items to Veterans, serve 66,282+ meals to homeless Veterans and deliver 3,827+ haircuts to people experiencing homelessness.
Each clothing donation addresses a practical barrier that can affect a job search: having appropriate attire for an interview, networking event or first day of work. By offering recipients the dignity of selecting clothing that fits their needs and personal style, Operation Gentlemen aims to support not only professional readiness, but also the confidence that accompanies a strong first impression.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Community members can bring eligible professional attire to a participating The Gents Place Club during regular business hours through September 30. To find current donation details and participating locations, visit the Operation Gentlemen Suit Drive page at https://thegentsplace.com/operation-gentlemen/.
Supporters who prefer to contribute financially may make a tax-deductible donation at https://donorbox.org/og. Financial gifts help Operation Gentlemen coordinate collection, sorting, transportation and distribution while sustaining its year-round programs.
A BRAND CULTURE BUILT AROUND LOCAL SERVICE
The annual campaign also reflects The Gents Place’s broader community-service culture. Participating Clubs are locally operated, allowing owners and teams to mobilize Members, guests and neighbors around a shared national mission. It is one example of how the brand’s barbershop franchise model connects premium service and recurring membership relationships with established opportunities to give back.
“For 10 years, our Members, guests, teams and local Club owners have turned gratitude into practical action, helping Veterans step confidently into their next mission,” Davis added.
